a. School Presentation
Motion to provisionally approve the Revenues in the amount of $79,160,404 made by Mr. Gleason,
seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve Town Appropriations for the School Budget in the amount of
$40,443,988 made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton.
– Motion passed unanimously. Motion to provisionally approve School Expenditures in the amount
of $49,733,662 made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Police Budget in the amount of $8,511,669 made by Ms.
Blank, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Prudence Public Safety Officer Budget in the amount of
$138,759 made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Animal Control Budget in the amount of $143,258 made by
Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Harbormaster budget tabled to 4/29/26 so that the Police Chief could take it out of the Police
portion of the boat fuel, docking fees and boat maintenance and add it to the Police Budget. No vote
taken.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Fire Budget in the amount of $8,426,793 made by Ms. Blank,
seconded by Mr. Gleason. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve to increase the Prudence Island Fire Chief salary and the
volunteer stipends from 3.00% to 4.00% made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. McDowell.
Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Prudence Island Volunteer Fire Budget in the amount of
$224,597 made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.

– Motion to provisionally increase the EMA Director salary by $1,185 made by Ms. Blank,
seconded by Ms. McDowell. Motion passed 5-1. Mr. Reise in dissent.
– Motion to provisionally approve the EMA Budget in the amount $69,250 made by Mr. Gleason,
seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the DPW Budget in the amount of $3,571,375 made by Mr.
Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the DPW Snow Removal Budget in the amount of $161,205
made by Ms. Patton, seconded by Mr. Gleason. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the DPW Road Improvement Budget in the amount of
$1,170,404 made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Prudence Island Transfer Station Budget in the amount of
$137,712 made by Mr. Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to move The Portsmouth Education Foundation and Post Prom line items in the amount of
$1,500 to Civic Support made by Mr. Reise, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
– Motion to provisionally approve the Town Council Budget in the amount of $16,698 made by Mr.
Gleason, seconded by Ms. Patton. Motion passed unanimously.
