RESOLUTION

No. 2025-151

WHEREAS: the Police Department requests approval to enter into a continued ongoing subscription for 1 year with Systemworks, LLC, dba PoliceDTS; and

WHEREAS: this mobile application and web portal allows for the scheduling of Police Department staffing, attendance, vendor detail requests and integrates with the City’s electronic payroll system; and

WHEREAS: Systemworks, LLC has proven success in the Police Department for staffing and filling shift vacancies as well as scheduling vendor details; and

WHEREAS: Systemworks is a mobile application and web portal which seamlessly runs all aspects of the Department’s scheduling and attendance of all Police related staffing. This allows for citizen and vendor requests and payment of special police details through the application, that is linked on the City’s website. It allows for the scheduling of overtime and special detail assignments through a rotational seniority-based algorithm and is compatible with and integrates all staffing hours into the City’s payroll system; and

WHEREAS: it is recommended to continue a subscription with Systemworks, LLC for this fiscal year July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 at a not-to-exceed rate of $14,200.00. NOW THEREFORE BE IT

RESOLVED: the extension of the agreement for a one-year subscription with Systemsworks, LLC, dba PoliceDTS of Groton, Massachusetts is hereby approved and the Chief of Police/Director of Public Safety is authorized to sign said subscription renewal agreement on behalf of the City upon review by the City Solicitor’s Office.
