RESOLVED: that the City of Newport amend the existing contract for Sidewalk Improvement Program (approved via Resolution 2023-66), in accordance with Section XI, with Narragansett Improvement Company, of Providence, RI, in an amount of $50,000.00 including $40,000.00 in construction contract work and $10,000.00 for Police Traffic Control, for a not to exceed total contract cost of $494,088.00. Section III, Term of Agreement, is extended to June 30, 2025. The Mayor is authorized to sign said change order agreement on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
