District Evaluation ISP and Student Services Manager
DISTRICT EVALUATION ISP AND STUDENT SERVICES MANAGER
GOAL__**
Evaluation ISP/Student Services Manager will be responsible for supporting the district as it continues to implement the RIDE Educator Evaluation Model. They will also support the district in the management and supervision of pupil personnel programs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES__**
· Lead training for district personnel or teams on the evaluation system
· Support the district with evaluation system implementation and technical support (e.g., collaborating with principals, teachers and district administrators; calibrating and norming ratings)
· Provide oversight and facilitation of the District Evaluation Committee
· Serve as primary and/or complementary evaluator
· Support the district in the management and supervision of pupil personnel programs (special needs, ELL, guidance, homeless, response to intervention, literacy plans, math plans, behavior plans, PBIS, health care plans and title I.
· Attend district wide learning leadership team meetings, workshops and trainings.
** MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. R.I. Teaching Certification in any area required.
2. R.I. Teaching Certification in administration preferred.
3. Master’s degree in leadership preferred.
4. Experience in educator evaluation preferred.
5. A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
6. Experience in leading professional development activities for staff.
7. Experience (with evidence) in advancing the use of setting goals and analyzing data to improve student learning and self-improvement.
8. Evidence of supporting a vision that reflects an ALL STUDENTS classroom program.
9. Demonstrated ability in using technology to support teaching and learning.
10. Demonstrated ability with planning, coordinating and validating instructional innovation efforts with the Common Core State Standards.
11. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Rhode Island Basic Education Program & Regulations and the RI Model: Teacher Evaluation & Support System.
12. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
13. Outstanding critical thinking skills.
14. The ability to work effectively with others at all levels of an organization including colleagues, parents, students, and administrators.
15. Capacity to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
16. The ability to identify challenges and be flexible to actively work to find solutions.
17. Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills.
18. Openness and responsiveness to feedback.
19. Commitment to attend all required RIDE Educator Evaluator ISP workshops and trainings.
20. Demonstrate exemplary oral and written communication and listening skills.
21. Successful interview.
22. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Committee may find appropriate.
