RESOLUTION

OF THE
COUNCIL

No. 2025-181

WHEREAS: The Information Technology Department needs to continue to support our GIS Coordinator in order to provide mapping solutions to all departments in the City; and

WHEREAS: The GIS mapping is a critical tool for the City and third parties alike; and

WHEREAS: The Canvassing and the Planning and Development Departments in particular rely heavily on GIS for day-to-day operations; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT

RESOLVED: The City Council approves the award of contract for a three-year term, in the not to exceed amount of $126,000.00, to Environmental Systems Research Institute, for the required licensing for the ArcGIS suite of software, and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
