Fire, Maritime, Parking and Resilience & Sustainability

The following items of business, filed with the City Clerk under the Rules of the Council, came before the Council at a workshop held on April 29, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 43 Broadway, Newport, RI 02840.

The CITY CLERK called the Roll and the following members were present:

MAYOR KHAMSYVORAVONG opened the workshop.    Harp Donnelly, Fire Chief, Stephan Land, Harbormaster, Patrick Segerson, Parking Manager, and Laura Sitrin, Interim Finance Director addressed the Council to provide the budget overview.  Discussion occurred among the Council.
