WHEREAS: The State of Rhode Island's Master Price Agreement #584, Engineering Services, presents FR Engineering Group Inc., of Warwick, RI, as a qualified vendor able to provide the required services for use by the City of Newport for services associated with the construction oversight and administrative services for the extension of the Ann Street Pier. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the contract by and between City of Newport and FR Engineering Group Inc., of Warwick, RI, in the not to exceed amount of $50,000.00 is hereby approved and the Council Chair is authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the City, subject to favorable review by the City Solicitor.
